Our production video introduce how to make 100% recyclable high barrier paper.
Moisture and oxygen barrier paper packaging is one of the most important areas in the packaging industry. However, traditional solutions often rely on multi-layer bags combining paper with PE film or aluminum foil. These combinations are difficult to recycle due to the complexity of separating different materials, posing a significant challenge to sustainability efforts.
For example, current cement sacks typically use three layers: extensible paper and PE film. By using our extensible high barrier paper, our clients no longer need to use PE film. This solution not only reduces the cost of PE film but also makes the packaging 100% recyclable, offering a more sustainable alternative.
Starting from 2022, we have focused on developing high barrier paper using our expertise in electron beam vacuum coating technology. In November 2024, we began production of high barrier paper with varying thicknesses in China. These papers provide the opportunity for our clients to replace PE film or aluminum foil in current sack constructions, offering a more sustainable and efficient solution without compromising on barrier properties..
